Swiss Olympic Coach Award 2018

For the seventh time, Swiss Olympic awarded the "Swiss Olympic Coach Award" last night. Marc Chatelain, Swiss PGA Vice President and Captain was honored as the winner of team/team sports. All award winners receive 5,000 francs each from Swiss Olympic in recognition of their enormously important work. Ralph Stöckli emphasized: "Even if this is not always perceived as such in the public sphere: the junior trainers are crucial for the development of junior athletes. They are the interface to elite sports and must ensure that the young athletes receive exactly the support they need on their way to the top. "

The "Swiss Olympic Coach Award" is awarded annually in several categories and serves as a supplement to the "Coach of the Year" in December as part of the "Sports Awards".
