Roberto Francioni leads the field with an excellent 7 under par round ahead of James Johnson (67) and Gianluca Pattuzzo (69). The Par 72 course offers perfect and challenging conditions for a competive Swiss PGA Championship. 13 players finished under Par.

After Day 1, the defending Swiss PGA Senior's Champion Franco Li Puma takes the lead in the senior tournament with a solid 1 under par round. He finished one shot ahead of Vivian Ross (72).
