The newly designed "Swiss PGA Golf Director" training is well received. In autumn 2018, the third course will start. The big innovation: for the first time, selective modules can be taken - a targeted further education for golf managers and golf professionals is thus possible.

The training program «Swiss PGA Golf Director» managed and designed by Dr. Angelo Amonini enjoys great popularity. The participants of the first course are about to complete their further education. The third course will start in fall 2018.
It is conducted according to a tried and tested model: 14 modules - including strategy, leadership, human resources, finance, project management, law, marketing. In order to receive the diploma after three semesters, a transfer project and a diploma thesis must also be submitted.
The education program "Swiss PGA Golf Director" is open to golf professionals and interested amateurs. The course is conducted in cooperation with the Association Suisse de Golf (ASG) and the Association Swiss Golf Managers (ASGM); The language of instruction is English. For the participation in the diploma course, the successful completion of a commercial apprenticeship or a business management further education or an equivalent professional qualification respectively a Swiss PGA Teaching Pro diploma is a prerequisite. The training commission of the Swiss PGA decides on the admission of the individual candidates after a preliminary discussion.
Now also selective moduls available
"Not only do we want to train new golf managers with this course, we also want to offer golf course managers and golf professionals already in professional life the opportunity to provide selective training," says Dr. Angelo Amonini.
For this reason, the Swiss PGA has decided to open the 14 modules of the new course also for golf professionals and guests who do not want to complete the entire course, but to selectively complete certain modules.
Participation per seminar module costs between CHF 750-1000 depending on the size of the module; Seminar modules are held when at least three participants have enrolled.
