4 top ten European Challenge Tour results formed the basis for Joel Girrbach's successful tour season. He finishes 22nd in the Road to Ras al Khaimah and wins the SPGA Order of Merit after 2016 and 2017 the third time in a row ahead of Marco Iten.

After a relatively slow season start with one top ten result at the Open of Portugal, Joel Girrbach accelerated his season with his excellent 2nd place at the Prague Golf Challenge in July. He confirmed his good result with a strong performance at the Rolex Trophy in Geneva and an outstanding 2nd place at the Hopps Open de Provence.

With his strong T10 result at the European Challenge's Tour Grand Final at Ras Al Khaimah, Joel Girrbach takes a top 25 place on the tour's 2018 order of merit.

Marco Iten used the 2018 season to position himself in the European Challenge Tour. His 2nd place at the Monaghan Irish Open was his highlight of the season. He confirmed his strong improvement with two top20 result at the Foshan Open and at the Ras Al Khaimah Challenge Tour Grand Final. He finished 37th in the Challenge Tour 2018 ranking. Based on his solid results, he also takes 2nd position in the Swiss PGA Order of Merit 2018.

Raphael de Sousa fought his way through the entire European Tour Qualifying School 2018. Based on his 7th place at the Q-School 1st Stage and his 12th place at the Q-School 2nd Stage, he moved to the tour's 3rd Stage.

With a total of -14, he finished T37. The 25 best get the tour ticket for the European Tour 2019. Raphael de Sousa missed the European tour card by only two strokes! However, his solid Q-School performance brings him many starting possibilities on the European Challenge Tour 2019.
