This year's field of players at the traditional Swiss PGA Tour event at Links Leuk Golf Resort was well worth seeing. Due to the reduced international tournament calendar, several internationally experienced tour players were at the start this year.

The course again offered challenging conditions for two exciting tour days. In addition to sometimes difficult pin positions, the difficult weather conditions made life difficult for the Pros. Despite these partly adverse weather conditions solid under-par results were achieved.

Kim Métraux prevailed the ladies tournament with a total score of 139 (-5). Paul Wesselingh won the seniors' race with an excellent final round of 66 and a total score of 139 (-5).

In the men's competition, an exciting three-way battle developed between the two men from Thurgau, Benjamin Rusch and Joel Girrbach, as well as Mathias Eggenberger. Benjamin Rusch (136/-8) finally won with a strong birdie on the last hole one stroke ahead of Joel Girrbach (137/-7) and two strokes ahead of Mathias Eggenberger (138/-6).
