Four New Trainers for Competitive Sports

Well-trained and competent trainers and coaches are an essential success factor for a sustainable and goal-oriented further development of the Swiss golf sport. The Swiss PGA invests continuously and specifically in the professional education and training of its members.

As a rule, the first stage of the Swiss Coach Training Program requires training, an examination and a diploma thesis. For some time now, Swiss Olympic and the Hochschule für Sport Magglingen have also recognised equivalent training. Among other things, coaches must have worked for the association for more than 10 years and thus have experience in dealing with competitive athletes.

We are very pleased that the long-standing Swiss PGA members and Swiss Golf Elite Coaches Richard Adby, Carlos Duran, Philippe Freiburghaus and Andreas Mantoan meet the strict requirements and have been appointed as new trainers for competitive sports.

This gives the four coaches, among other things, access to the valuable Swiss trainer network and the annual Magglingen Trainer Conference.
