For the 13th time in a row, the Swiss PGA Tour has been a guest at the Golf Club Markgräflerland in Kandern near Basel. The scenic Par-72 course offers with its challenging fairways and the demanding ondolated greens optimal conditions for an exciting competition. On the two tournament days, a total of 27 men, 12 senior citizens and 4 ladies fought for the total prize money of CHF 12,600.

In the men's category, neo-pro Benjamin Purshouse prevailed with two solid rounds (70/68) and a score of 6 under par. Two strokes behind and with a score of 140 (70/70), Corsin Caviezel finished in 2nd place, one stroke ahead of the T3-ranked Ken Benz, James Johnson and Jean-Yan Dusson.

In the senior's category, the actual Swiss Seniors Champion Franco Li Puma wins with two excellent under-par rounds (70/70), taking a comfortable lead over second-placed Jean-Jacques Blatti and third placed Karim El Baradie.

The ladies competition was dominated by Rachel Rossel. She plays two very solid rounds with a total of 144, 9 strokes ahead of Clara Pietri.
