Strong Results of Swiss PGA Proettes

Excellent performance of Kim Métraux at the 5-day Qualifying School of the European Ladies Tour at the La Manga Club in Spain. She finishes only 4 strokes behind winning Welsh-woman Amy Boulden. With a total of -6 after a closing 69 she proofed her consistency and strong overall performance. She said that she had come to Q-School without expectations:
"Of course, I am extremely satisfied with the result and it was great that I was able to play for the victory," said the 24-year-old Swiss PGA proette. "2020 really started well," she adds. Especially the four under par on the South Course was another confirmation of the early top form. The top five of this year's Q-School receive a category 5c LET card opening up almost all tournaments of the Ladies European Tour 2020.

Having missed the past season due to shoulder problems, Morgane Métraux delivered a great come-back. She played particularly well at the beginning of the tournament taking the lead after round 1. With a very strong finish, including five birdies on the final nine holes, she ultimately secured her place in the top 15 with a total of three over par. With her 14th place, she receives a Category 8a tour card, which still enables her to start at most tournaments on the Ladies European Tour.
The two sisters from Lausanne actually wanted to play on the American Symetra Tour in 2020. "Now we have to take a close look at the game plan and we will make a new decision," says Kim on behalf of the two successful sisters from Lausanne.
Anaïs Maggetti from Ticino also made the cut. placing in 40th place. This gives her a restricted tour card of category 9b.
