Learn, Apply, and Build: An Introduction
Train Your Eyes to Detect and Correct Golfer Movement Aberrations
This webinar introduces the Learn, Apply, and Build (L.A.B.) Golfer Biomechanics concepts of Movement Cooperation (Alignment) and Movement Choreography (Rhythm). It also presents Swing Mapping, an observational tool that helps instructors identify hidden performance errors contributing to swing challenges.
Swing Mapping decodes stroke techniques into the underlying biomechanical causes of movement errors. For example, a slice may not only stem from poor technique but also from misalignments or faulty movement sequences in the golfer’s body that need correction.
By shifting from a purely technical view to a performance-based perspective, instructors can better assess pose alignments, sequencing, and compensations in motion. Swing Mapping and L.A.B. tools are easy to use and compatible with any teaching method or technology.
This approach allows real-time, tailored corrections of body alignment and sequencing, offering more precise instruction, especially for post-rehab, mature, or special population golfers.
The webinar provides a foundation for further Swiss PGA education opportunities beginning in 2026.
