At the 2025 Little Venice Red Sea Open on the Pro Golf Tour, Mauro Gilardi and Leo Andeer delivered solid performances. Both Swiss PGA pros finished inside the top 20 – with Gilardi, in particular, confirming his upward trend with his third top-15 finish of the season.

Conditions in Sokhna were anything but easy: temperatures soared above 30 degrees Celsius, gusty winds picked up especially in the afternoons, and the fast greens demanded full precision. Mauro Gilardi once again showed he could stay composed in tough environments. With three consistent rounds of 72, 72, and 71, and a total score of -1, he secured a share of 14th place.

"I'm generally satisfied with my performance," said the Swiss PGA pro. "I played solid golf for most of the week, made a lot of good decisions, and stayed mentally focused even during the tougher moments."

What makes this result particularly noteworthy: it marks Gilardi’s third top-15 finish this season – a clear sign of steady progress. "I can really feel that my game is developing consistently," he said. "Now it’s about continuing to work hard to turn solid results into real top finishes."

Leo Andeer also made a promising start to his season, competing in his first Pro Golf Tour event of the year. With rounds of 70, 72, and 74, he finished tied for 18th at +2 – a solid opening that shows his potential for the year ahead.

Both Swiss players proved that they can hold their own on the Pro Golf Tour. And for Gilardi, the path forward is clear: the foundation is there – and it won’t take much more to turn steady showings into standout performances.
