The combination of theory and practical exercises was particularly appreciated: “James Ridyard short game presentation was outstanding, gave me lots of good ideas and feel that I’m chipping better already!” said Gary Hanham, Swiss PGA Professional at Golfclub Lucerne. “It was a fantastic day, I really enjoyed the combination of theory, presentation and then practical, even if it was raining. The outdoor practical with James was really enjoyable and I think it’s really going to help me coach the members of my club better.” commented Michael Coventon. Others, like Richard Swords, teaching professional at the Golf & Country Club of Basel, always appreciate the opportunity to meet and interact with world-class coaches: “It’s wonderful to have Further Education Days with world-class presenters, like we had with Lee Cox about Long Driving, and today with James Ridyard, the short game specialist. These guys are working with some of the best players in the world and it’s very refreshing to get new ideas which I can take back to the golfclub, and hopefully help my students to play better.”
This year's final Further Education Day will take place at Golfpark Oberkirch on 7 November with Steve Furlonger bringing the latest technological expertise on the forces at play in the Swing and Power Generation.
