Loïc Naas Claims Maiden Pro Golf Tour Victory

News

19. June 2026

Swiss PGA member Loïc Naas celebrated a milestone in his young professional career by capturing his first Pro Golf Tour title at the VcG Köln Open in Germany. The 23-year-old secured the victory with a birdie on the second playoff hole, defeating Italy's Agustín Bardas after both players finished the tournament at seven-under-par.

Loïc produced a composed and determined performance throughout the week at the historic Golf- und Land-Club Köln. After opening with an impressive 67, he followed with a level-par 72 before closing with another excellent 67. Starting the final round five shots behind the leader, the Swiss PGA member mounted an outstanding comeback to force a playoff.

The victory is particularly significant as Loïc only turned professional in November 2025 after completing his collegiate career at Lincoln Memorial University in the United States. Competing in his rookie season on the Pro Golf Tour, he has shown consistent progress, with this maiden title marking an important step in his professional development. Prior to Cologne, his best result on the tour had been a ninth-place finish earlier this season in Egypt.

Following his victory, Loïc praised both the venue and the tournament organisation, describing the Golf- und Land-Club Köln as the best course the Pro Golf Tour has visited this season, highlighting its excellent course conditions and challenging yet fair layout.
