Second Consecutive Top-5 Finish for Chiara Tamburlin

News

25. May 2025

The player from St. Gallen secured a share of fifth place at the Jabra Ladies Open. She now heads to Erin Hills to compete in the U.S. Women’s Open.

Swiss PGA member Chiara Tamburlini achieved her second consecutive top-5 result on the Ladies European Tour at the Jabra Ladies Open. Playing on the Evian Resort Golf Club course – which will host the fourth women’s major of the season in July – the 25-year-old from St. Gallen entered the final round as the leader at seven under par. However, a final-round score of +1 wasn’t enough to capture what would have been her fourth LET title.

Nonetheless, her current form is highly promising – especially with the U.S. Women’s Open beginning on May 29 at Erin Hills. After finishing runner-up at the Aramco Team Series in Korea just two weeks ago, Tamburlini’s fifth-place finish in France now moves her up to fourth position in the LET Order of Merit.

Also worth noting: a second Swiss PGA member made the cut – Elena Moosmann from Zug, who finished tied for 47th.
