Swiss PGA members once again delivered outstanding results on the international scene. Both Chiara Tamburlini and Joel Girrbach showcased excellent form, underlining their consistency and determination as the season approaches its climax.

Chiara Tamburlini secures her tenth Top-10 finish of the season

Ladies European Tour – Wistron Ladies Open (Taiwan)
At the Wistron Ladies Open in Taiwan, Chiara Tamburlini achieved her tenth Top-10 finish of the 2025 Ladies European Tour season. Due to challenging weather conditions, the tournament was shortened from 72 to 36 holes, testing the players’ patience — some, including Tamburlini, were only able to tee off for the first time on Saturday.

That didn’t stop the 25-year-old from St. Gallen from producing another excellent performance. On the Sunrise Golf & Country Club course, where she claimed her third professional victory last season, Tamburlini carded rounds of 69 and 68 to finish tied for eighth at -7.

Next up, she will compete in the Aramco China Championship from November 6–8, before heading to the United States to prepare for her major year-end goal — the final stage of LPGA Tour Qualifying for 2026.

Joel Girrbach continues his strong form in South Korea

DP World Tour – Genesis Championship (South Korea)
On the men’s side, Joel Girrbach maintained his excellent form with another strong showing on the DP World Tour. Just two weeks after finishing third at the Open de España, the Thurgau native posted rounds of 68, 72, 71, and 69 (-4) to secure 22nd place at the Genesis Championship at Woo Jeong Hills Country Club.

This marks Girrbach’s sixth Top-30 finish of the season — and his third in the past two months. With this result, the 32-year-old moves up to 60th place in the DP World Tour Rankings, qualifying for the upcoming DP World Tour Playoffs, starting with the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship (November 6–9).

His next target: breaking into the Top 50 to earn a spot at the season finale in Dubai.
