Swiss PGA member Chiara Tamburlini once again showcased her talent at the Investec South African Women’s Open. With a total score of -9 (279 strokes), she secured a tied 6th place, earning another impressive top-10 result on the Ladies European Tour.
After an excellent opening round of 68, Tamburlini followed up with a brilliant 65 on the second day – her lowest score of the tournament week. Despite a challenging 74 in the third round, the young player from Eastern Switzerland fought back with a steady 72 on the final day, climbing back into the upper ranks of the leaderboard. Her reward: €9,520 in prize money and valuable points for the Order of Merit.
The tournament was won by Perrine Delacour (-14), with Cassandra Alexander (-12) finishing as the runner-up.
