Nora Angehrn

Nora Angehrn, Advanced Pro Member of the Swiss PGA since many years, Swiss Golf coach and dedicated professional at the Golfclub Breitenloo, has been chosen to become the new Vice-Captain for Team Europe in the 2021 PING Junior Solheim Cup in Ohio, USA.

The PING Junior Solheim Cup, a prestigious junior girls’ golf team event, has seen many Ladies European Tour (LET) and Solheim Cup champions participate in their early years. This event represents a great opportunity for all generations to meet and share, as it is meant to connect the LET with junior golf and the future talented players of the tour, as well as with former LET members.

We really look forward to having Nora on-board for the 2021 event said Alexandra Armas, Chief Executive Officer LET. Nora has experience from her career on the LET, as a coach of the Swiss team and at GC Breitenloo. Her experience will be of great value when coaching the team in Ohio together with the Captain Annika Sörenstam. Nora also has great personality traits to engage with the young players and the team atmosphere.

Nora’s expertise will be put to good use very quickly as the team will be selected at the end of July. The whole team will then travel to the United States at the end of August to stay for two weeks. It promises to be a very intensive period and the Swiss PGA wishes Nora a successful and rewarding experience.
