At the Johannesberg Golf Club, even the qualification was special: The 16 players had to win in a 6-hole match play in groups of four. For every hole won there was one point, a draw gave two and whoever lost the hole had to note down 3 points.

After the first two days in the "short format", Caroline Rominger ranked seventh. On Saturday and Sunday, four "normal" matches decided the title in Sweden. Rominger narrowly won the first round with one up, in the afternoon she qualified for the semi-finals with a clear 4&3 win. The player from Graubünden then also won the semi-final with a clear 3&2. Rominger's run was only stopped by Sweden's Sofie Bringner, who finally won the title with 4&3. "In the final, the birdies didn't want to fall anymore, but it is clearly the highlight of the year for me", said Rominger, who will immediately compete in the next tournament in Sweden on the Ladies Access Series.

Amateur Elena Colombo was still in third place after the first day of qualifying, but due to too many lost holes she finally missed out on a place among the best 16 players.
