The participants first attended a theoretical presentation by Mike Kanski, then enjoyed some privileged coaching moments with the putting expert. The Swiss PGA Professionals not only leave armed with new methods of teaching this very specific part of the game, but also with new confidence in their own game thanks to the personal coaching they received.

"With Mike Kanski, his analysis and monitoring, we can see the fine movement, understand what is happening. Do you push or pull the ball, even when putting. It was fantastic and I advise everyone to take putting lessons", says Grégoire Chavaz, Teaching Pro at the Golfclub de Sion.

Amy Steger, who recently graduated from a three-year apprenticeship with the Swiss PGA, was also delighted: "It was very interesting, I learned a lot of new things. Especially after my apprenticeship, I can add these new concepts to my teaching methods. Regarding my lesson with Mike Kanski, my putting has some potential for improvement," joked the new Teaching Proette of the Heidental Golfclub, "but the lesson was fantastic!".

Frédéric Hoffmann, Teaching Pro at Golfclub Crans-sur-Sierre, admires Mike Kanski's ability to explain some very complex putting concepts in a simple way: "Mike is a true master of putting. He explains complex concepts in a very simple way, so I learned a lot."

The next FED Day will also be dedicated to the short game and will take place in October. The Swiss PGA will be pleased to welcome James Ridyard, one of the best in the field.
